Kevin M. Yopp is a litigation associate with Gilchrist & Rutter. Mr. Yopp's practice focuses exclusively on litigation in both trial and appellate courts, where he has represented major corporations and executives in complex business disputes. Prior to joining Gilchrist & Rutter, Mr. Yopp practiced for five years with a major international law firm based in Los Angeles.
Mr. Yopp received his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law where he was a quarterfinalist in the Lile moot court competition. He received his B.A. magna cum laude in Political Science with Honors from the University of California, Irvine where Mr. Yopp also received the Order of Merit award.

- Representing a defense contractor in an appeal after entry of an adverse judgment for fraud and breach of contract, including a multimillion-dollar punitive damage award
- Defending a telecommunications company in securities fraud actions and related litigation
- Representing private equity companies as plaintiffs to recover amounts owed from the early redemption of bonds
- Defending a real estate developer in a breach of contract and fraud case involving a disputed partnership for a multimillion-dollar condominium development.
- Counseling a consumer electronics company in matters concerning the enforcement of Chinese arbitration awards arising from the purchase of its product from a Chinese state-owned company
- Defending a toy company in an intellectual property dispute surrounding the rights to a highly successful line of dolls and related products
- Representing a high school basketball player pro bono in CIF athletic eligibility hearings
