Peter Swain is Of Counsel to Gilchrist & Rutter. Mr. Swain primarily represents entrepreneurs and private equity funds.
Mr. Swain's practice focuses on business and commercial real estate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and private securities offerings.
Mr. Swain earned his J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Swain received his A.B. from Harvard University.

Acquisitions and dispositions of hotels, shopping centers, oil and gas leases, radio stations, automotive-repair franchises, utility companies, electronics manufacturers, and parking garages, including transactions structured as leveraged buy-outs, stock purchases and asset purchases.
